The Hyde Park has been around forever!

The Hyde Park watch roll by Rapport of London deserves some coverage! For several years now it has been a stalwart of our line up of luxury leather watch rolls. This accolade is not undeserved either. The Hyde Park 3 has something of an ace up its sleeve. In 2023 it won the 1010 Boutique “Most Versatile Watch Roll” award!

Always a good place to start with a Rapport product is with the presentation box. This is a sturdy construction with the Rapport logo hot foil pressed in silver on the top. Inside there is a soft, protective pouch also signed. Removing the Hyde Park from the pouch you instantly know that this is a product of high quality. The the premium leather has an understated soft sheen finish. The Rapport logo de-bossed into the front section offers a subtle relief. Unlike many watch rolls on the market, the Hyde Park takes on a more ‘flat bottomed’ ellipse than a cylindrical roll. This not only looks better in our opinion but also presents the practical angle in that it sits well on a surface, rather than rolling to have the heaviest part downwards.

Three press stud fasteners hold the flap securely in place, more than enough for travel purposes and much less fiddly than a buckle fastener. Inside the front flap you have two cushions either side of a single watch roll which can be used independently. A fabulous, well devised and also quite unique concept to date.

Hyde Park, the benchmark of quality

The interior is lined with a premium suede, a soft warm grey paired with the black exterior in this case. Three other colourways are available; navy/grey, tan/navy or grey/black. Again the rapport logo is foil pressed into the underside of the flap. The fine quality continues into the edge stitching, accurately following the crisp edges of the roll. No matter whether you have this on your bedside table for storage, as a travel companion or as we’d like to think – both, the Hyde Park 3 really will deliver a great and very luxurious home for your cherished timepieces.
